
Many people don't understand that cold weather causes the tyre pressures to drop. In the autumn and winter you need to adjust your tyre pressure to compensate for the cold weather.
You set your tyre pressures when the tyres are cold, which is before the car has driven any long distance. But "cold" changes with the different seasons and ambient temperatures. So you need to check and reset your tyre pressures as the weather changes.
