MAC Trailer, a manufacturer of customizable dump, flatbed, drop-deck, transfer, dry bulk pneumatic tank, and liquid trailers, has recently partnered with CADENAS to organize and optimize their 3D CAD models. This partnership solved several internal problems, which has now enabled MAC Trailer to streamline their engineering process. By removing thousands of redundant parts and implementing an organized system, CADENAS has helped save MAC Trailer time and money.Starting in the fall of 2020, CADENAS implemented software to sort existing parts and identify duplicate parts in MAC Trailer’s digital inventory. Once the duplicates were eliminated, the inventory was re-indexed and the data was securely stored on a localized server. The smaller number of parts have been re-indexed within their new product life cycle management (PLM) software, Siemens’ Teamcenter.
