Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles has discussed the confusion surrounding a proposal from Russia to set up a military base in Indonesia. “The Indonesians have made it completely clear to us that they have absolutely no intent of having Russian aircraft operate from their nation,” Mr Marles told Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.
“I’m just not going to get into what communications happened between two other countries.
“It’s really important we’re careful in the way in which we talk about this stuff.”
