In June, 1919, Red Army warships descended on the fortress of Krasnaya Gorka. A British Lieutenant, Augustus Agar, vowed to intervene, taking on the most lethal ship in the Russian fleet in his tiny CMB–with spectacular results. It was such an unlikely victory that the Russians falsely recorded the event as a submarine attack.
