The Handmaid’s Tale returns for its sixth and final season on Tuesday 8 April with three episodes fast-tracked to SBS On Demand for Australian audiences.

The full season will be scheduled on both SBS and SBS On Demand with new episodes premiering weekly up to the finale on Tuesday 27 May. More information on timing for SBS On Demand availability and the broadcast schedule on SBS will be provided closer to launch.

In the final season of The Handmaid's Tale, June (Elisabeth Moss) returns to the fight against Gilead, joined by Luke (O.T. Fagbenle) and Moira (Samira Wiley) in the resistance. Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) seeks reform, while Commander Lawrence (Bradley Whitford) and Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd) face their past actions. Nick (Max Minghella) confronts his own moral dilemmas. This powerful conclusion is a gripping battle for justice, freedom, and survival.

The Handmaid's Tale is produced by MGM Television.
