This was an experimental jam session we put together for fun. We challenged ourselves to use instruments not typically used in hip hop. To be honest, I'm not even sure this is hip hop.I wasn't going to share this at first, but I decided to go ahead and post it.
In this song you'll hear a steady acoustic guitar, a live bass guitar, a latin trumpet section in the beginning, along with another latin brass section in the middle, a brief cello piece in the background, and a live harmonica that takes the song out. The drum break is live, and includes several fills to help break the beat down in some sections.
While this instrumental may not be perfect for song writing, it's a great piece to listen to.
