Long ago, these places were dedicated to improving human nature and society through cutting-edge science and unwavering commitment to the cause.

Now, even a brief passage through these shadow-enveloped dungeons raises unsettling questions about humanity itself. Few explorers made it out alive to voice those questions publicly, though.
