Today, we’re taking on a very special mission. The neighbors of an elderly lady reached out to us, complaining about the overwhelming smell coming from her home. She’s been living alone for years and has a hard time letting go of her belongings, which has led to severe hoarding. The situation has gotten so bad that it’s starting to affect her health and her relationship with the community. When we arrived, she greeted us with a gentle smile, but stepping into her living room was like walking into a different world.

Cockroaches scurried across the floor as we opened the door, their tiny forms darting between piles of papers, old furniture, and plastic bags filled with who-knows-what. The air was heavy, with layers of dust and a lingering musty odor that made it hard to breathe. This was going to be a challenge—but one worth taking on...
