Synopsis:
In a legendary ancient era unbeknownst to the world, a mysterious period unfolded. The Way of No Return, its longevity like a flickering candle nearing its end, had tirelessly guarded Qingfeng Mountain for years on end, securing the exit of the Demon Cave. As the ten-year pact approached, the Black General emerged, engaging in numerous fierce battles with the Way of No Return. Though the outcome remained uncertain and victory elusive, both sides suffered immense injuries. The Black General, depleted of his vital energy, transformed into an infant, while the Way of No Return, plagued by internal injuries, knew his time was limited. Passing on his lifelong skills to his devoted disciple, Wu Xia, he entrusted him with raising the infant to adulthood and integrating him into the righteous faction, restoring the Divine Sword Sect. Several years later, the Crown Prince, observing celestial signs, urgently summoned Wu Xia of the Divine Sword Sect to embark on a mission to vanquish the demons, accompanied by Zhu Que and Xuan Wu. Despite opposition from fellow disciples and elders, Wu Xia insisted on bringing his junior brother, Wu Jie, to Qingfeng Mountain, both to broaden his horizons and to test his affinity with the demonic forces. Although born of demonic lineage, Wu Jie, a kind-hearted individual who eschewed martial arts in favor of medicine, faced a perilous and challenging journey fraught with temptations from the malevolent forces. The road to the Demon Cave in Qingfeng Mountain must pass through the desolate Ghost Spring Town. Finding no other accommodation, Wu Xia, Wu Jie, Zhu Que, and Xuan Wu decided to spend the night in Ghost Spring Town before venturing into Qingfeng Mountain the next morning. It was there that the Dark Lord finally emerged, seizing Wu Jie away into the darkness...
