Another jam with the Elektron Model:Cycles, i'm recentrly working on a new project - WFZ - focused on more musical productions. The M:C have a chord machine that it's fine but (for me) a little tricky for more articulated chord progressions so i tried to use the machine as a poly synth. I splitted the chords in 4 "tone" tracks for the intro and 3 "chord" tracks for the outro, i have to say that this enlarge a lot the amount of possibilities and the preset lock function permits to have a complete set of sounds (harmonic and percussive) also with the limit of 6 tracks. Hope you enjoy this personal approach to IDM (in the 90s meaning Intelligent Dance Music) with some melodic incursions and a little tribute to a Great artist and producer.
