Boy howdy has it been a while? Like TOO long of a while. As if I couldn't be any worse at being consistent with my uploads but here we are. Thanks to a combination of moving my boyfriend across the country to come and live with me, work being a total bitch, and spurts of depression and anxiety I haven't really gotten around to recording like I want to. But time to fix that!

Recently I actually got my hands on a Twisted-Electrons Acid8, which is something I've been eyeing for ages now. Found one for a DAMN good price on Craigslist and jumped on it. So I decided to pair it with my Volca Sample and make some silly electro/techno stuffs. Huzzah for that!

TECHNICAL SHENANIGANS:
-- The Acid8 is acting as the master clock, with a 3.5mm cable running from the sync out-port on the Acid8 to the sync in on the Volca Sample
-- The Acid8 is also running through a Zoom G1On multi-effects pedal, said pedal adding some chorus and reverb to the Acid8
-- Both are run through a simple mixer and then into my Tascam DR-05 for recording
-- The whole mix is then imported into Audacity and limited slightly. Nothing more nothing less.
