Stuart Sutcliffe from the time he joined "The Beatles", to it all changing when they went to Hamburg.
He was John's friend at art college and Stuart was a big influence on John.
Stuart financed his first bass guitar by selling his abstract expressionist painting, "The Summer Painting", at a major art exhibition in Liverpool.
He was an exception artist and his heart was never really in being a rock'n'roll star.
We look at his time from when he joined Johnny and the Moondogs, up to the time they changed the name to The Beatles, just prior to setting off for their first Hamburg residency.
