Skin Yard, along with other Seattle acts like the U-Men and Bundle of Hiss, were pioneers of the Grunge movement. Guitarist Jack Endino is probably the most prolific member of the band, due to his fast and efficient recording process that Sub Pop later recruited to do all of their singles and most of the EP's and LP's that they published. Jack's signature sound engineering became the calling card of the "Seattle Sound", and by the time he called it quits he had nearly a hundred recordings to his name in under seven years.
