I spent two weeks working on this new version of the track, exploring tons of ideas before locking in this 80s-inspired vibe. It’s a mix of 80s pop, synthwave, and a sprinkle of disco to keep it fresh and nostalgic at the same time. The melody was composed by Bass Fun, and the lyrics were written by me and Deen Warren.

The vocals were recorded in the UK with my good friend, an amazing English vocalist—shoutout to him for bringing this song to life. In this video, I’m sharing the Cubase session where you can see all the audio and MIDI tracks. You’ll get a closer look at the tools I used, including VST instruments perfect for that 80s disco-pop sound, like Serum, Spire, and Arturia’s incredible collection.

I also recorded live performances for the solo melodies, basslines, drums, and pads, all played on my latest Arturia keyboard. You can really feel the energy of each element as it builds into the full track. It’s always a blast combining live and digital instruments to bring that authentic 80s atmosphere.
