on the famous Kojima Recordings/ALM Records catalogue resides one of the most psychedelic, fun, varied and creative private pressings from Japan -- an insane rarity as well. a sound that oozes early city pop along with funk, bossa nova, prog and ambient laid throughout that is also super synth-laden. that's not even to mention the longform tracks and eclecticism of the album, with more loner folk taking the backend of this otherwise playful record. this takes you through a very sentimental and mellow ride of lush arrangements, touching vocal performances, simple and complex instrumentation and a full body of work you won't be able to forget even if you tried -- made through the lens of a 16-member group directed by the one named Hozumi Tanaka. another one of my all time favorite private press projects!
