The Bachs grew up together in the Chicago suburbs of Lake Forest & Lake Bluff Illinois. The band slowly assembled its player lineup in early 1964-1965. Over the three years of its existence as a performing band, The Bachs played high school dances, teen clubs and private parties. In the summer of '68 the band decided to record an album as an audio history of its time together and to provide a farewell for its fans.
"Out of The Bachs" was their swan song. With only 150 copies pressed and all twelve tracks original compositions, "Out of the Bachs" is regarded by aficionados as one of the finest garage band records of all time as well as one of the most collectible.
