Nick Noble, the leader of British Shoegaze band, '93 Million Miles From The Sun' joins South West Shoegazer Sam Mortley and Scotland's most famous Shoe staring DJ, Yogi 'Shoegazer' Duncan to discuss our gig experiences and the contrasts between then and now. We look back on the differences between gigs back when Shoegaze started in the late 80's/ early 90's and today's scene, referencing changes in the gigging industry and dark forces that may demolish the scene altogether such as streaming and corrupt corporations such as PledgeMusic and Spotify. Video footage and photos are provided mostly by Sam Mortley's own Shoegaze gig experiences within the last 6 years (2015 onwards). There a couple of older video clips straight from the Youtube archives in order to illustrate what we are talking about further.
