Description:
In this video we'll have a look on one of the most strangest borders in the Middle East. I'm not talking about the border between Israel and Palestine as you might expect me to do, but about the border between Oman and the UAE.
You see, what makes this border really special is that there is an UAE enclave inside an Oman enclave inside UAE. You'll have to watch the video to understand what I'm talking about.
Feel free to write your opinion about this in the commnets.
Hope you'll enjoy the video!

Transcript:
Beside the border between Israel and Palestine which has a very rich history, the border between UAE and Oman has to be the strangest one in the Middle East.
You see, this place here which is home to a small village of just 40 buildings is a fully sovereign territory of the UAE which is completely surrounded by Oman territory. Nothing special up to now, but if we zoom out a little, we see that this Oman territory is completely surrounded by the rest of the United Arab Emirates.
Zooming out even more, we can see another Oman exclave, representing the southern shore of the Strait of Hormuz completely separated from the mainland Oman.
This leads to the situation where someone who lives in mainland Oman and wants to travel to the Musadan Peninsula to be able to cross no less than 7 checkpoints in order to end up in the same country.
