Fyre Festival 2 postponed as organizers vet new event locations

The fate of the second Fyre Festival is up in the air after its website announced the event has been postponed. Organizers say the festival will no longer take place in the Mexican resort town of Playa del Carmen, and a new host destination will be announced soon. The festival's promoter, Billy McFarland, pleaded guilty to wire fraud and other crimes tied to the first Fyre Fest in 2017.
