🏨 Season 03 - Episode 07: In this full episode, Lakeview Hotel has a poor local reputation due to food and service issues and a controversial ban on children, despite having an on-site ice cream shop. Upon Gordon's arrival, he immediately notices dust in the reception and restaurant, as well as an old-fashioned, dusty room. During a meal, the dishes disappoint, from runny Minestrone soup to frozen meat cheeseburgers and low-quality turkey sandwiches served with overly salty broth. Recognising the need for change, Gordon encourages the owners, Brent and Afni MacDonald, to take action, which they both agree. They embark on revamping the menu with fresh food and local wines, renovating the rooms, and making local business connections. However, despite their initial commitment, they eventually revert to their old ways.
