of course, not much is known about Kenji Tanaka, not much is known about The Part Time, and not much is known about this album. however, what's known is that it's an excellent, eclectic mix of lo-fi cute folk pop tunes, atmospheric loner folk and more heavy folk rock. like all other more elusive Japanese private press folk records i upload to this channel, it is very rare. the mastering of the record leads to some unintentional noisiness in some of the songs, which in the last track in particular, makes it sound like some weird outtake to Jun Konagaya's psych-neofolk stuff under his Grim alias (my opinion don't hurt me). that said, this record's one of the greater outliers in the private press scene in terms of its quality. amazing stuff!
this is where i'd tell you to support the artists but you literally can't. just enjoy the music, that's as much as we can do :')
