The Honda Passport is an all-new Utility that sits in size between the CR-V and three-row Pilot. The 2019 Honda Passport is built on the same platform as the Pilot and Ridgeline pzickuptruck. In fact, all three vehicles have the same wheelbase but the Passport is roughly 6-inches shorter overall. The shorter package is due to no third row of seats with a shorter overhang. This, along with seating for 5-passengers, over two-rows provides the same passenger space as the Pilot but the cargo area is shorter. This still provide plenty of cargo space because of the missing third row. Just like the Pilot, this Passport mid-size SUV uses the same 3.5L V6 engine with 280hp and a 9-speed automatic transmission. In the Canadian market all models come standard with AWD.
