One of the Beatles rarest recordings. Commissioned for the Carnival of Light Rave at London’s Roundhouse club a few weeks later. The poster credited, “Music composed by Paul McCartney and Unit Delta Plus”
An avant-garde collection of loops, distorted guitar, drums and organ
with lots of echo. Effects included gargling with water
and voices – with John and Paul screaming out random phrases.
Carnival of Light paved the way for Revolution 9.
