Elastic: Small rubber bands on the appliance.It provides pressure to move the teeth wear them the time as instructed and change them routinely.
Elastic Ligature: Tiny rubber bands that hold archwire in the brackets.
Ligature: Fine wires around bracket, it holds archwire in place.
Brackets: Small attachments on the teeth. It holds the archwire in place.
Headgear Tubes: Round, hollow attachment on the back band.
Buccal tubes: Hollow attachment that holds the archwire in place.
Buccal Hooks: These are for attachment of elastic.

Broken Appliances
Check for loose or broken appliances.
If you find anything wrong, call your doctor.
Minor problems can be resolve at home.
Care for appliances
Despite strange feeling, do not touch any part of the device.
