The father soon returned. He works night shifts and have his daughter sleep in the truck in the meantime. His job is to get produce from warehouse to customers. The child's mother is still with them. She had temporarily gone to visit the man's father since he's sick. So he has no choice but to bring her with him.
However, the girl is sick as well. She has a tumor on her kidney. She already lost 1/3 of her kidney. They are working hard to make money to pay for further treatment. The man is incredibly doting and a responsible father. It's clear how much he loves his daughter. And how much his daughter cherish him.
Thinking that was it, the stranger did the most selfless thing for the family he had just met. He went and bought some food for the little girl. And he also stuffed some money into the red envelop and gave it to the girl. She was still awake when the man returned. The father is incredibly grateful. Of course he tried to decline the gifts and the cash but he knew his daughter needed the money.
