Making mistakes and making music.

I really wish you could chain patterns on the Volca Bass. And I wish you could hear the kicks (at all) when listening on a phone. That drop falls pretty flat without it. Oh well.

I love love love how easily you can just drop whatever samples you want into the Circuit Rhythm. Today I added some fun percs: clave, cajon, tambourine slap and a neat techy-sounding clap/hybrid snare hit.

DAW-less means no computer. So what? Who cares? I don’t know. But there’s just something magical and fun about making music entirely on the hardware, self-contained. Synths and samples. Analogue. Digital. Realtime. Un-programmed. So damn fun. I can’t wait to do more. Keep learning. Keep experimenting.

This is just a little improv. Un-planned. So much to enjoy about it and so much to do differently next time. Can’t wait to do a hundred more.
