In the eighth episode of Egil's Saga (Chapters 64-71) Egil Skallagrimsson is spared his life by King Eric Bloodaxe with the help of Arinbjorn. But more duels and battle await Egil on his long journey. Reading from the 1893 translation by WC Green which is in the public domain. This story was first written down in Iceland in 1240 AD by "Anonymous" but many people believe it to be the work of Snorri Sturluson.
