We use language every single day, but we don't always know the meaning behind the words we are using. This is especially prevalent in slang. With the rise of social media, slang is always evolving. Understanding the meaning behind the slang language that we use can be powerful and makes us more meaningful communicators. Zachary is a Sophomore at Granada Hills Charter High School who has always had an interest in ancient history and their languages. He is interested in learning how language evolves over the course of human history.
