Birch Xylitol:
NOTE: Only use Xylitol derived from Birch, not corn. Also, I do not recommend using large amounts of xylitol (about 1/2 tbsp or less per serving) as it can disrupt your gut biome in large amounts (no more than 2 Tbsp per day). If you already have leaky gut, it's best to stick with stevia. Having said that, I have Celiacs & have a very sensitive digestive tract.... and using 1/2 Tbsp, occasionally, doesn't affect me negatively at all. It's all about balance and listening to how your body reacts. DO NOT GIVE TO DOGS.
Also, if you're not concerned with the glycemic index, then you can always add raw honey as well. I like to switch it up.
