Born out of the Myspace-DIY culture of the mid-aughts, Brooklyn-based noise artist Dreamcrusher has been releasing heart-stoppingly dense and beautiful soundscapes with fervor since 2003. Their self-described NIHILIST QUEER REVOLT MUSIK transcends the internet and is best experienced immediately and with open and mind and body. On July 7th, 2022, Dreamcrusher performed alongside Drew McDowall and Tval in a celebration of the life and legacy of Genesis Breyer-P-Orridge at Pioneer Works' Red Hook Labs. This project is supported by Science Sandbox, a Simons Foundation initiative dedicated to engaging everyone with the process of science, and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Program in Public Understanding of Science and Technology, bridging the two cultures of science and the arts.
