Úlfr gengr um djúphiminn,

Eg fylgi —

Fenrir, shadow’s blood-father,
fanged with a thousand fetters,
caressing the earth with a fiery breath.

Mountains burn, the sea shrieks,
a blood moon stares above the forest.
The wolf walks across the deep sky,
beams of light lick his jaws.

I follow,
with staff of sorcery and wolfskin cloak,
bones weary, hope faint.
But my heart still howls.

We rise together, he and I,
in the silence of night.
He teaches me my name,
once lost in fate.

A tree drives roots into my chest,
thorns grow in my blood.
A storm sings ancient fate-songs.
The frostbitten earth calls to its children.
