This chill and progressive piece from Metapony not only displays the musician's distinct, often emotional take on House, it also has an interesting concept. The first half of the track actually started as a remix of "Let The Sun Rise" by Morgsch and is meant to represent the day, while the second half of the track was made about Luna and is meant to depict a calm night. The title "Land Of Rising Moon" is also a mashup of the "rise" from "Let The Sun Rise" and the "moon" from the theme of the second part! A musical embodiment of the duality between the day and the night and their respective princesses, this fresh and soothing House experience is available as part of the compilation album Lollipop from the promotional channel and initiative A State of Sugar. It is their first compilation album and it was something that they planned for a while, so make sure to show them some love on their Twitter and to grab this sweet candy of an album, holding many amazing tracks from lesser-known musicians who did an outstanding work. I hope you enjoy the album and the sugary cider everypony! Don't you think the name "Lollipop" and the logo of the album are so cute? I had to pay tribute to Violin Melody's work! As for this track, when I heard of its concept I knew I had to represent the duality of day/night with the visuals, and I made the background change from a dawny sky to a dusky sky when the second part of the track starts! No crazy effects or lens flares here, but I thought that a more laid-back approach would fit the mood of the music and the theme. Plus, I really love those color gradations! Fun fact, I created them by using the colors of dawny and dusky skies from screenshots from MLP episodes! Yes, the colors that you see in the backgrounds are straight from the show! Ponies forever! Also by the way, I love the artist who did that artwork of Celestia and Luna, CigarsCigarettes, she's an amazing artist and her works are so gorgeous and very lovely. "Parfait" is my personal favorite artwork from her, and you can tell by my wall of te- comment there that I love it a lot!
Stay pony my friends!
