I love Vex Scar btw, like dude, he’s so fun to animate! I chose this song cause I think it matches his energetic vibe. Btw there’s no rhyme or reason for me including mr Mumbo Jumbo and pesky bird Grian as humans, they’re there just cause :p

-CONTEXT FOR THE VIDEO-

This video is based in an SMP called Hermitcraft. Hermitcraft is a Minecraft server where a group of YouTubers play together and create videos, including GoodtimeswithScar (also known as just Scar).

Even more specifically, this is set in season 9 of Hermitcraft in Scar’s made up world called Scarland. (Don’t ask me why I chose Scarland, I just thought it looked rlly cool and loved his Willy wonka vibes)

Scar is known for having an entertaining, funny and optimistic personality (Hermitcraft Wiki) and is sometimes drawn as the Minecraft mob, the vex. The Vex is a hostile mob in Minecraft that was designed to make players move around more and looks kinda like a small, grey angel. Scar and his friend, Cub, where the Convex prankster duo in Hermitcraft season 5, which continued in a new form as ConCorp in season 6. (Schmedriks_27 on reddit), hence why they are drawn as vexes.

Grian (the guy with the red sweater) and Mumbo (the guy with the suit) also appear in this animatic. They are friends with Scar, and also are on the Hermitcraft server. Grian is known for his cool building skills and pranking, while Mumbo is known for his red stone (and being a spoon).
