Julia and Dan's Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm Wedding in Santa Barbara, CA is one we will never forget. It wasn't just the gorgeous venue, beautiful decor, or the fact that their dog Cruz was a part of the day that made this special, we truly felt like we were instantly friends with these two. They both had the ability to be so warm and welcoming to all of their friends and family and were both just so calm on what can sometimes be a stressful day.
The girls started the day at the Kimpton Goodland Hotel in Santa Barbara which is an amazing spot to get ready. We've had the opportunity to film there a few times and the rooms are beautiful and modern and the overall vibe is just so unique! The guy meanwhile were at the Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm already hanging out and having a relaxing morning.
Let's just talk about the Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm quick which has easily become one of our favorite venues to shoot at. Just down the road from Rancho Dos Pueblos (one of our other favorite Santa Barbara wedding venues), and this place has it ALL. Rustic yet beautiful greenhouses, a ceremony location overlooking the water, and a huge property with a large variety of looks. We could probably film here every day and not get bored!
Speaking of beautiful greenhouses, that's where Julia and Dan saw each other for the first time on their wedding day. It was a super special moment and you could see instantly that these two were made for each other!
From there guests arrived for the ceremony (which included their dog, Cruz, walking down the aisle and giving a handshake). Then it was time for the reception where guests were treated to an amazing group of toasts, and seriously danced the night away!
