She pretended to forgot her wallet and asked for some money to eat a meal. Saying she'll return the money. The woman although was a bit skeptical she still lend her the money.
The woman however, immediately returned the money and told her that it was just a social experiment. After hearing the street vendor's story she decided to help her. The street vendor told her that the man beside her is actually not her husband but her brother in law. Her husband had passed away 3 years ago leaving her the only caretaker for the disabled man. Her mother in law is sick in bed and cannot help take care of the disabled man.
When the woman said that she'll take all the watermelon she wondered if she could eat it all. But the woman said that she'll give it to her employees so it's alright. But instead of the agreed upon $500, she paid $1000.
