This is a song about the first time i went to a gay bar it's pure british postcard humour #tragicomedy inspired by the writings of #joeorton #oscarwilde #morrissey #suede and the bawdy humour of carry on films and british seaside towns and ..... well you get it ' british tragicomedy ' when i was writing this ' one line really stood out and made me laugh .... The very first version of this we wrote a few months back we were really heavily into #britpop at the time ' since then we have moved on and got much more experimental ' but this is a fairly new recording of the song ' recorded in the last month this version . there is a much better version coming that is already recorded . we just want some of these demos out and let the youtubers listen to them theres no point in leaving them on hard drives ' unless they are so awful they should stay unheard on a hard drive ' this song's not too bad .

One of the things this song is trying to say is life in london is a pizz stained wall with brief interjections of stellar communion in awkward places ' show me a man who hasn't pizd on a wall in london or a bush ' it is a base observation ' yes ' but a real one ' and i'm about the nitty gritty nobody wants to talk about . but it's still there ' the fact that london is the most expensive toilet in the world ' doesn't change the fact it's a toilet . but having said that ' it's also the gateway to the buzz ' the buzz of existence 'it's all here .
