Tokio Hotel hit the road again for a world tour, twenty years after making their big break. In Mexico, anticipation is building as fans eagerly await the band's return. Arts Unveiled joins them to explore why Tokio Hotel is more than just music to so many. In 2005, the hit song "Durch den Monsun" catapulted the eastern German teen band Tokio Hotel to worldwide fame. With singer Bill Kaulitz's androgynous looks, the band defied traditional gender roles and became idols and inspiration to young outcasts. Now they are back on the road, with several concerts in Latin America. We join Tokio Hotel superfan Braulio in Mexico, in a world of screaming teens and kids' rooms filled with fan paraphernalia. Why is the band still so popular? Why are they so controversial? And why do their fans also see them as role models?
