There's no one 'right' way to go into a live show or one magical live gig setup, but after over 700 shows since 2000; here are some things to think about. Stream Pickett Music Free at: Obviously every gig is a little different, but having the ability to bring your own PA if you need to, and get a decent sound in many different rooms, is pretty crucial. While many venues have a house PA, it still pays to have your own live gig setup for bookings that require it. It doesn't have to break the bank or be hard to haul around...it just has to sound good and work consistently.
