Ukrainian authorities have ordered families with children to evacuate Ukraine’s eastern city of Pokrovsk and nearby towns and villages as the Russian army begins bearing down on settlements in the area. Civilians, including children were seen carrying their belongings as they left Pokrovsk and other nearby towns. The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, said the situation in the region was getting 'difficult' but that his forces were doing everything they could to 'destroy the occupier'
