This track is one of the very few things I kept from my original drum n bass career as “Tree” or “DJ Tree.” I made a 4 track Ep in about 1999 or 2000 before I started making house when I lived in Oakland. at the time I recorded a ukulele at my apartment and processed it for about 3 days until it sounded like the baddest Kung fu movie pluck sound ever. Then I made the really really dark jam out of it. So this track is actually a remake! I loved the sound of Mr Fox from Manchester when I was going over there a lot and my good friend Jade (PY) also has a great voice on the female riffs.
