-- FR -- C'est avec grand honneur que nous avons pu nous entretenir avec Brice Leclercq @briceleclercq101. L'artiste français nous a parlé en toute humilité de son nouveau projet musical baptisé FROM KAOS qui donne forcément dans le black metal d'obédience scandinave. Il sort son premier album solo à paraître en décembre 2024 : Synchronicity 1 (autoprod.) où l'on retrouve le batteur Janne Jalomaah de DARK FUNERAL (@darkfuneral) Ce 1er effort appelle déjà à une suite ! ;-)
Pour rappel, le bassiste français a joué dans son parcours musical auprès des défunts Suédois DISSECTION (R.I.P.) de 2004 à 2005 pour la promotion live de l'album Reinkaos (et aussi à l'album studio, mais ça c'est une autre histoire) et sur l'un des enregistrements live cultes de DISSECTION : Rebirth in Stockholm (2004). Il a également été bassiste de session live avec SATYRICON, et citons également sa collaboration avec AGES, ainsi que les Greco-Suédois de NIGHTRAGE récemment interviewés sur www.metalobs.com.
Bien sûr, difficile de ne pas évoquer ici le passé car ça faisait un bail que nous ne l'avons pas entendu, même si cette fois il chante, et possède également sa chaîne YouTube où il interprète à la basse (son instrument de prédilection) diverses reprises de black metal et de son répertoire familier.

-- EN -- It is with great honor that we were able to speak with Brice Leclercq. The French artist spoke to us in all humility about his new solo project called FROM KAOS and the first solo album to be released in December 2024: Synchronicity 1 (self-produced).
As a reminder, the former French bassist played with the late Swedes DISSECTION (R.I.P.) from 2004 to 2005 for the live promotion of the album Reinkaos (and also on the studio album, but that's another story). He was also a live session bassist with SATYRICON, and let's also mention his collaboration with AGES, and the Greek-Swedes of NIGHTRAGE too that we recently interviewed on www.metalobs.com. Of course, it's hard not to mention the past here because it's been a while since we heard him, even if this time he sings, and also has his YouTube channel where he performs on bass (his favorite instrument) various covers of black metal and his familiar repertoire.
