The collaborative events between Outtallectuals, Shivelight & Earthly Measures make a return in a new home at Hoxton's Folklore, exploring a wide range of folktronica, global bass and psychedelic electronic music. We are joined this time by the duo of Halfred and Lo.Renzo from Italy, who also bring along their South-American inspired organic house project, Jakare.

🐉 Jakare [South American Folktronica | Organic House]

Jakare, comprising of Italian duo Lo.Renzo & Halfred, explores South American soundscapes with musical instruments like charango, ocarina and pan flutes blended with organic textures and digital grooves, thus creating a mix of tribal and post-modern musical concoction.


🐸 Halfred [Psychedelic Bass | Global Bass]

Halfred, the Italian born sonic warrior found breaks the often repetitive mold of psy music, seamlessly taking the forms of his signature sound. Focused on the micro details, he’s constantly experimenting with the squishy and granular side of psychedelic mid-tempo, drum and bass, dubstep, psybass and all things psychedelic.


🦋 Lo.Renzo [World Electronica | Global Bass]

Lo.Renzo is an Italian multi-instrumentalist, producer & DJ who has evolved to become a nexus of world & electronic music, expanding to also include the mandolin, banjo, ukulele, cumbus, sarangi, ocarina, digital music production & more.


🌎 Earthly Measures [Folktronica | Organic House]

Earthly Measures are a DJ duo, event promoters & record label owners. Spanning 5 years of putting on multi-cultural events, collaborating with the likes of Multi Culti, All About Love, Noisily and now Outtalectuals/Shivelight we’re brining our world-infused electronica back to East London. Having over 10 releases in the EM catalogue, expect to hear much of that alongside our favourite Downtempo, Folktronica, World & Disco.


🦂 Baxtak [Global Bass | Experimental] 🦂

Баxтак is the British-Iranian founder of Outtallectuals music & arts label, and co-curator of Shivelight music platform. He also produces and DJs avant-garde electronic world fusion music, ranging from Middle Eastern hip-hop, South Asian and Oriental dub to cross-tempo & cross-genre music from other parts of the world.
