UNDERTALE takes place in the future? The opening sequence shows us Mt Ebott and its year. We also see frisk fall, so is it in the future? Well no. Frisk isn’t the one who falls, if you look at the stripes on her sweater, it’s Chara. Who was the first human to fall. After her, 6 more humans fall from the Surface. Chara fell in 201x, many years went by since then, so we’re in a far away future. But let me know what you think, what year is UNDERTALE In?

Undertale* is a pixelated, quirky, 2015 role-playing game (RPG) where you play as a human who has fallen into the monster-inhabited Underground. Your goal is to find a way out, but you can also choose to stay trapped.
