Disney’s live-action Snow White is off to a rough start, with one of the worst Rotten Tomatoes scores for a Disney remake. The biggest highlight? Rachel Zegler’s standout performance. She pours everything into the role, but beyond that, the film struggles. Gal Gadot’s Evil Queen feels wildly inconsistent—either over-the-top or lifeless. Her villain song, All is Fair, has fun lyrics but seems meant for a stronger singer. While she’s working with weak writing, her performance ultimately sinks under the weight of the production. Visually, the film is a mess. The costumes look oddly cheap for a big-budget movie, the CGI animals have their moments, but the backgrounds feel overly artificial.
