John Phillips, Denny Doherty, Michelle Phillips and Mama Cass Elliot made up the lineup of this legendary band that gained success in Los Angeles, California. Michelle was newer to music, but the others had come from bands like The Journeymen, The Halifax 3, and The Mugwumps.
