Mini Youth ATV Used By Adults For Overlanding! Episode 2, A Wiring Harness Nightmare. My cheap Chinese ATV setup has to be completely rewired. It isn't pretty! Merri's little quad gets a good start getting the body looking really nice, among other things.
This video series shows the progress on setting up our two new overland adventure rigs. We're building these ATVs to take us on multiday, self supported camping trips. The real unusual thing, they're built for kids.
These mini quads are mass produced in China and are cheap as hell, not engineered or built very well, but cheap as hell. And that's good, because we're on a strict budget of $500 each. This has to get them in running order and able to haul us and all our camping gear.
