That's the word from Festival Director Carol Roberts.
She says homegrown macro and micro businesses will earn extra income by providing various products and services during the Caribbean festival, which is expected to attract thousands of visitors to the island’s shores.
While not giving a price tag on what it will cost Barbados to host CARIFESTA for a third time, Ms. Roberts says it is important to note that Barbadians stand to reap significant economic benefits.
She made this abundantly clear at a CARIFESTA 15 media stakeholders briefing.
Ms. Roberts is also appealing to media partners to capture and tell all CARIFESTA 15-related stories that will help to market all aspects of the festival.
And she is promising media partners and influencers full access to the key information needed to get stories out to the masses.
