Session Files & Loopcloud Projects

Loopcloud session files are a way for you to save your Loopcloud projects for later or easy sharing with your collaborators.

You save a Loopcloud session just like you do in any other program. In the top menu bar, go to file and Save Loopcloud Session. You can also choose to Save As. Loopcloud will also warn you about unsaved sessions when you try to close the app without saving. If you would like to turn this off, you can do so in the top menu bar, file, preferences. Then in the Options Tab under General you can disable “Warn about unsaved sessions”.

Pro tip, if you save all your Loopcloud sessions in one folder then add that folder to Loopcloud you can access them right from the Library window. This will support a file structure as well for better organization. You can even add tags to your session files, like BPM, Genre, and Key, etc.

Now, remember, one of the coolest things here, you can save Loopcloud session files that use Loops and Sounds that you haven’t spent your points on yet and open them later or even share those incredibly small files with your friends and fellow collaborators.
