Pajen released an unofficial (but AWESOME) firmware update for the Korg Volca Sample. Among other things is the ability to play all of the samples chromatically with an external controller.

That expands the usefulness of this little sample player quite a bit but controlling those note changes with a multi-channel, MIDI sequencer (like the OP-Z) makes this humble little beat maker into a groovebox powerhouse.
