‼️🚨Beware of Facebook Marketplace Scam Messages!

Scammers are sending fraudulent messages pretending to be from the Facebook Marketplace Support Team to trick users into giving away their personal information. One example of such a scam is the message:

“⚠️ Attention! Your store is having trouble verifying your identity. Not meeting community standards. Impersonating a celebrity to sell products. We require you to verify your identity. If you do not verify within 24 hours, we will limit/permanently remove your Facebook Store and Marketplace! ↪️ Verification access: [Fake Link] Notice to Facebook Marketplace Support Team!”

Why This Is a Scam:
1. Fake Urgency – Scammers use pressure tactics by saying you must act within 24 hours or face account removal.
2. Suspicious Link – The link provided (e.g., metacas2833.com) is not an official Facebook domain. Legitimate Facebook links always end in facebook.com or meta.com.
3. Grammar & Formatting Issues – Official Facebook messages are professionally written, unlike this poorly structured alert.
4. Phishing Attempt – Clicking the link might steal your login details, banking info, or infect your device with malware.

What To Do If You Receive This Scam Message:

✅ Do NOT click the link or enter any personal information.
✅ Report the message directly to Facebook via the “Report” option.
✅ Verify with Facebook – Log in directly to facebook.com (not through links in messages) and check for any real notifications.
✅ Change your password if you clicked the link and suspect your account may be compromised.

Final Warning:
